Lighthouse Lensography

Here is a lens that talks about my interest in lighthouses and gives a listing of all of the lenses that I have written on lighthouses. Do you have a favorite lighthouse? Stop by and leave me a note. I'm always looking for new lighthouses to visit and photograph. Lighthouse Lensography

Lighthouse Enthusiast Lensmaster of the Month

For July/ August the lensmaster of the month is John Banks aka Daybreak in our Lighthouse Enthusiasts group.

Here are Johns comments on his interest in lighthouses.

I am a lifelong lighthouse enthusiasts. As a boy I was able to see and
explore Assateague Island Lighthouse which is near my home town. Later as an
adult I developed a passion for saltwater fishing, which exposed me to many of
the lighthouses of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland and Virginia Coast and
eventually to more distant ports such as Cape May, NJ, New Bedford, MA and
Gloucester MA.

When I started creating websites, it was a logical step to include
lighthouses in the content of several sites. For instance,
www.chincoteague-island.net
features news, articles and photo galleries about Assateague Island Lighthouse.
Another site that relies heavily on lighthouse content is
www.chesapeake-bay.org. Our
CafePress store at
http://www.cafepress.com/outdoorsusa
also features several sections of
lighthouse art.

Squidoo is an excellent tool for sharing lighthouse information, art and
links. My lighthouse lenses include

http://www.squidoo.com/chesapeake-bay-lighthouses
and

http://www.squidoo.com/assateague-lighthouse
.

Please stop by Lighthouse Enthusiasts to wish John well and you may also want to visit John's newest sit at Nautical Art.
